Modern interfaces with React

In addition to our classic setups, we now also use React for suitable projects. React helps us build modern, component-based interfaces that feel fast and responsive for users.

When React makes sense

We use React especially where interfaces contain dynamic areas or repeated interactions: for example, where content updates frequently, forms are more interactive or views react directly to user input.

React and classic websites

Not every project needs React. For many websites, a classic implementation with HTML, CSS and a lean amount of JavaScript remains the best choice – especially when the focus is on clear information and fast loading times. Where interactive elements bring real benefits, React is a strong option we are happy to use.

What this means for your project

In each project, we decide together which technology fits your goals best. If React is a good fit, we use it to create a modern interface – if a classic setup is more suitable, we keep the stack simple and efficient.

Case Study: „Wo ist Felix?” – A sensitive website, carefully modernized

„Wo ist Felix?” has been online for many years as an information website about a missing person case. Recently, a documentary was produced on the topic – and the creators needed a modern, up-to-date website again on short notice.

Starting point

There was an existing website with a lot of history and a very specific look and feel. At the same time, a large amount of new material from the documentary project was available and needed to be integrated.

Our task

The clients wanted the site to look more modern again, remain easy to contact and provide clear information. Most of the texts and media were supplied by them – our job was to structure, design and implement everything in a careful way.

What we did

  • Reworked page structure so that important information and ways to get in touch are easier to find.
  • Modernized the layout while keeping the familiar character of the site.
  • Integration of numerous image galleries to present projects and impressions in an engaging and visually appealing way.

Result

The updated website remains sensitive in its communication, is easier to navigate and presents the many years of work behind „Wo ist Felix?” in a modern form.
